Being in the position of continuously striving can feel heavy, daunting, and impossible.

Feeling critical of yourself and second-guessing your passion can create feelings of hopelessness. It’s possible to stop these thought cycles and ruminating thoughts.
In therapy, I guide you through dropping into these feelings and thoughts, so that you can understand their creation, and reprocess their effects on our body and mind.
We can lessen the anxiety and imposter syndrome by creating a stronger connection to self, unburdening the parts associated with these symptoms; while at the same time constructing new thought processes.

Pursuing a demanding profession can put a lot of pressure on those pursuing them.
There is a lot of self-doubt and second-guessing when it comes to establishing a career.
It is common to experience anxiety that can permeate all parts of our body as we do this work.
In therapy, we will explore your mindset and definitions of the roles you take as you pursue your goals. With curiosity you’ll experiment with different practices that can help alleviate the anxiety you are experiencing.
This might also include further education in your profession, guided practices for anxious thoughts, and soothing bodily sensations that come up when you are feeling anxious.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we can begin to understand the part or parts of us that arise when we are feeling dysregulated by the triggering incidents that happen. We can use EMDR techniques to help reprocess the belief systems of imposter syndrome.
